Rigi - Queen of the Mountains from Lucerne

Start your day with a relaxing one-hour cruise on picturesque Lake Lucerne to Vitznau. Change onto Europe’s first-ever mountain railway dating from 1871 and set out on the journey to the top, Rigi Kulm. Continue to the car-free village of Rigi Kaltbad by cogwheel train and take a stroll across the village square, where you will spot the Mineralbad & Spa designed by the renowned Swiss architect Mario Botta. Follow an easy hiking trail with a slight incline to the Känzeli viewing platform (optional). Descend by aerial cable car and enjoy an impressive vista of pristine Lake Lucerne.
