About
Discover the Venice branch of Fondazione Prada: Ca’ Corner della Regina, an 18th-century palace overlooking the Grand Canal. The building’s origins date back to the mid-15th century, when Caterina Corner, the future queen of Cyprus, was born here. In the 18th century, the family’s descendants, the Corner brothers of San Cassian, commissioned architect Domenico Rossi to rebuild the palace in the Baroque style, a project completed in 1728. Since 2011, Fondazione Prada has utilized Ca' Corner della Regina for showcasing contemporary art exhibitions, particularly during major cultural events like the Biennale Arte and Biennale Architettura. In 2026, it will host _Helter Skelter: Arthur Jafa and Richard Prince_, curated by Nancy Spector, exploring a dialogue between works by these two American artists.
